How a quote is built

What goes into setting a price.

We do not use a fixed rate card, because two retailers with the same revenue rarely need the same work. Six factors determine every quote we issue.

Scope and depth

A single-channel audit and a full commercial rebuild are different pieces of work. We price by the number of workstreams involved and how deep each one goes.

Time and duration

Estimated senior hours per month, the length of the engagement and how much of it is live execution versus advisory input.

Team composition

Some engagements need only strategic input; others require media buyers, designers, sourcing support or a supply-chain coordinator from our contractor network.

Business complexity

Catalogue size, number of markets and languages, marketplace presence, fulfillment model and how clean the existing data and tooling are.

Speed and priority

Compressed timelines and hard launch dates require reserved capacity, which is priced accordingly.

Pass-through costs

Media spend, tooling subscriptions, sampling, freight, photography and third-party fees are billed separately at cost and disclosed in advance.

Billing and terms

Currency

All prices are stated and invoiced in U.S. dollars, excluding any applicable taxes.

Invoicing

Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance; projects are split between kickoff and delivery.

Payment terms

Net 14 by bank transfer or card, unless agreed otherwise in the contract.

Changes of scope

Additional work is quoted and approved in writing before it starts, with no surprise line items.
